A very sturdily constructed chest, restored drawer runner bearers and drawer runners where necessary, so drawers glide easily in their recesses. Drawers with all round dovetailed construction and thick timber bases. Original escutcheons and dark knobs. Good panelled back, wax finish. A fine looking, serviceable chest.
