Few Words About Us
Welcome to S & H Antiques (Antique Pine Furniture Restorers). A business I started way back in 1972, although then it was known as Pine House Furniture. I made and restored Victorian pine furniture, with my wife. My son Scott joined the business in 1997.
We still make furniture today, mainly cupboards and bookcases etc, which are in our shop, but the main function of the business is the restoring antique pine furniture.
We both have a passion for restoration work and our pine is the finest restored furniture to be found anywhere. We source from all over the UK, this enables us to have a variety of stock, with regional variations, from West Country dressers to Lincolnshire dresser bases, Scottish chests etc. All are different and all tell story. We also source items of pine for our customers, by age, design, dimensions etc, no obligation to buy, it's simply moved to our showroom. I love old pine myself and even though we deal with it everyday, our house is full of pieces which we've collected over the years.
