An excellent quality, restored, antique pine Pembroke table, on turned legs. Circa 1890. A very clean, sturdy table. There are 4 flap hinges attaching the leaves to the top, all in good condition. The leaves when up are supported by timber pull out supports, two for each flap and have small knobs attached, for ease of use. To one end of the table, set in the frieze is a small 2 3/4″ deep drawer, fitted with a small ceramic black knob. A beautiful jointed 2 plank top and one piece leaves, which are balanced, so a flat, even table top surface when leaves are up. Drop leaf tables are always comfortable to sit at, due to the inset frieze rails. Wax finish, with wax lacquer top. A lovely, antique pine table.
